We use NGS to decode genome and transcriptome from marine vertebrates & invertebrates
We are marine scientists from worldwide and interesting on the beauty and diversity of marine organisms. To better understand the evolution, phylogeny and population genetics, we utilized the state-of-art next generation sequencing technology (NGS) to decode marine organism's genome and transcriptome. The samples are collected and contributed from our collaborators worldwide and sending to TAIWAN high-throughput NGS core to perform genome decoding and bioinformatic analysis. Up to now, we have successfully finished the draft genome sequencing for more than 100 animal/plant species from both invertebrates (squid, sand worm, shrimp and snail etc) and vertebrates (fish, stingray and whale etc). In addition, more than 30 scientific papers have been published by our team members in the recent two years. If you are interesting and would like to do genome decoding for your target species, please contact us and we can do the job for you as a international collaboration project.
